Support of JBoss 6

We just migrated from JBoss 4 to JBoss 6. Our licence of JProfiler doesn't permit to monitor JBoss 6.
In this context, I'm looking for an application like AppDynamics (Lite initially).
Unfortunetally, AppDynamicsLite do not support JBoss 6.

Is it planned to support JBoss 6 ? If yes, when this support will be available ?
Or maybe there's a trick to make works AppDynamics on JBoss 6 ?

Thanks
Nico

    Hello Nico,

You can try our liteagent with JBoss 6 as well. Please let me know if you are having any problems in configuration.

Please let me know if you are facing any issues with the configuration and do let me know your environment details so that I can give you your environment specific agent entry.

    Hi Arpit,

We had our appserver running on Jboss 5.1 before & we were using Appdynamics lite for the purpose of monitoring.
Recently we have migrated to Jboss 6.1, after which Appdynamics stoped working on or setups.
On going through various forums I came across many a posts which say that Appdynamics supports jboss4.x , jboos 5.x . Is this the reason for the failure while using Appdynamics or Do we need any special configuration in order to use the same.

    Hello ,

Can you try adding javaagent entry in run.conf ?

    Hello,

i also have problems running Appdynamics lite with jboss 6.0. I added the agent in run.conf. When i run the viewer and the jboss 6, i only see "Standalone JVM" in the viewer.
When will Appdynamics support jboss 6?

    Regards

    Andreas

    Hello Andy,

With Lite version of agent you will see standalone jvm . When you generate load on your application you should be able to see the business transactions in viewer.

Please let me know if you are not able to see any business transactions in viewer.
